“Balanced, All-Inclusive Approach:” Governor Hogan Testifies At U.S. Senate on Infrastructure

Governor Hogan testified to the U.S. Senate Environment & Public Works (EPW) Committee to provide his input on a potential federal infrastructure package. Last year, he led a national initiative as chairman of the National Governors Association focused on rebuilding America’s crumbling infrastructure.

In his testimony, Governor Hogan recommended that any federal infrastructure bill grant maximum flexibility to the states, cut the red tape slowing down critical projects, and leverage private sector investment. He also urged that any effort be bipartisan. According to Governor Hogan, “governors on both sides of the aisle have shown that there are more than enough common sense ideas where we can find bipartisan support.”
