According to a report in Fox Business, earlier today, Governor Hogan joined 14 other Republican governors in calling on the Biden administration to take immediate action to address the national supply chain crisis.
While the national supply chain crisis threatens the nation’s economic recovery, the Port of Baltimore continues to run smoothly and add more ships. Under Governor Hogan, Maryland has made key strategic investments in the vital infrastructure of the Port, including a recent dredging project to allow two massive container ships to tie up at the Port at once.
President Biden and Secretary Buttigieg have recently visited the port to view this success. In a visit earlier this month, President Biden praised the Port of Baltimore as one of the best ports in the nation.
