Governor Hogan Announces Joint Operation With Over 100 Arrests in Baltimore, Continues Laser Focus on Violent Crime

Governor Hogan is continuing his laser focus on tackling violent crime, announcing earlier today a large-scale joint federal, state, and local operation that resulted in an additional 104 fugitive arrests in Baltimore City.

While taking action on the urgent crisis of violent crime, Governor Hogan is also urging the Maryland legislature to finally pass his common sense bills for tougher penalties for violent offenders and real transparency to track the sentences that are handed down by judges for violent crimes.

Governor Hogan is also delivering on his promise to Re-Fund the Police with $500 million of increased funding for law enforcement. Earlier this week, Governor Hogan signed a historic pay raise for Maryland police and first responders.
