Governor Hogan Calls Into “Good Morning New Hampshire with Jack Heath”

In case you missed it, this morning, Governor Hogan called into Good Morning New Hampshire with Jack Heath to discuss his accomplishments in Maryland and why Republican governors are better suited to lead in higher office than Washington politicians.

Governor Hogan on his Record in Maryland: “We were in really bad shape back in 2014, back when I decided to run for Governor… We have a 70% progressive democrat legislature. In despite of that, I got them to cut taxes eight years in a row by $4.8 billion. I turned a $5 billion deficit into a $5 billion surplus. And we had the biggest economic turnaround in America. We went from 49th to number six, top 10 in the country. It just shows that real leadership can make a difference.”

Governor Hogan on Governors: “I think that we should have more governors considering running for higher office because they actually seem to have common sense and get things done.”

Governor Hogan on Donald Trump: “Even if you like Turmp’s policies, it’s clear that he’s not our strongest candidate. We can’t keep doubling down on failure. I think he’s the only person in America that could have lost to Joe Biden. And he did, and I don’t want to do it again.”

Governor Hogan on Joe Biden: “There’s an overwhelming majority of the people in America that really do not want Joe Biden or Donald Trump to be President. Sixty something percent that do not want either one of them. That’s why I think it’s important for us to look to other alternatives.”
