Governor Hogan — in his role as National Co-Chair of No Labels — is leading a bipartisan effort advocating for the U.S. to provide greater military assistance to Ukraine. Earlier today, Governor Hogan joined Senator Joe Lieberman and former Director of National Intelligence Admiral Dennis Blair “in urging President Biden and Congress to provide or facilitate delivery of vital additional military aid to Ukraine.”
According to Governor Hogan, “The American people are unified in standing with the heroic Ukrainian people and against Russian aggression. We will not be intimidated by Putin’s barbaric attacks and threats. We must stand united with our allies in offering not just words and sanctions, but the additional weaponry Ukraine needs to prevail.”
In recent days, Governor Hogan took part in a prayer service in Baltimore at St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church and held a prayer vigil in support of Ukraine outside the Maryland State House.

Although America has already delivered significant military aid to Ukraine, we can and must do much more. We join the Problem Solvers Caucus in urging President Biden and Congress to provide or facilitate delivery of vital additional military aid to Ukraine, including but not limited to S-300 surface-to-air missile system, MiG-29 jets, and Su-25 aircraft.”
