An America United hosted two major events to promote examples of great leadership and celebrate Governor Hogan’s success in Maryland over the last eight years.
The first event called “The Annapolis Leadership Summit” brought together public and private sector leaders to talk about how to get America on the right track. The event included recorded messages from Secretary Condoleezza Rice and former American Enterprise Institute President Author Brooks.
Throughout the day, different panelists and speakers included Russ Schriefer, Jonah Goldberg, founder of the Cook Political Report Charlie Cook, Echelon Insights Partner Kai Chen Yeo, Political Scientist Elaine Kamarck, AOL Founder and entrepreneur Steve Case, former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger, American Enterprise Institute Director of Domestic Policy Ryan Streeter, journalist Nina Easton, former FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb, Secretary Ben Carson, Business Roundtable Senior Vice President Dane Linn, founder of Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) Ed Schweitzer, TravelCenters of America CEO Jonathan M. Pertchik, and Founder & CEO of UpSmith Wyatt Smith.
That evening, An America United hosted the 2022 Governor’s Celebration at the Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland, where Governor Larry Hogan addressed a packed crowd of nearly 1,700 supporters
