Politico highlighted Governor Hogan’s role in helping to forge bipartisan infrastructure deals in the Senate and the House Problem Solvers Caucus. According to the report, the bicameral and bipartisan group met at “an overnight summit at the governor’s mansion of renowned centrist Larry Hogan in Maryland this spring” to work together on a framework and to align the approach of the groups in the House and the Senate.
At the Summit, Governor Hogan presented to the lawmakers his National Governors Association’ infrastructure initiative, which recommended leveraging public-private partnerships to pay for investments.
