While Federal Relief Stalls, Governor Hogan Takes Bipartisan, Common-Sense Actions To Help Workers and Businesses

In case you missed it, Governor Hogan joined Rhode Island Democratic Governor Gina Raimondo for a Fortune CEO Initiative virtual conference on the current national economic crisis.

As urgent federal relief continues to stall in Congress, Governor Hogan is implementing bipartisan, common-sense solutions to help workers and businesses. Last week, Governor Hogan announced an additional $250 million in state aid for “struggling restaurants, small businesses, and Main Streets” across Maryland. Governor Hogan is also promoting efforts to partner with the private sector to improve workforce development for those who are seeking work.
