Earlier today, Governor Hogan signed into law a first-in-the-nation emergency suspension of the gas tax. The bill passed both chambers of Maryland’s legislature with unanimous support.
This is just another example of how Governor Hogan has successfully secured support from his overwhelmingly Democratic to cut taxes every single year of his governorship – the only Republican governor in America to do so. Last year, Governor Hogan passed the largest tax cut in Maryland history with near unanimous support.
